How a Bean Ri piece is made

  1. Bean Ri rings scattered on a pale surface, in black and white

    01

    Conversation

We meet at the KOOS gallery in Tallinn, or by message if you prefer. You bring an idea, a photograph. It takes 30–60 minutes, with no charge and no obligation.

  2. Hands against a white feather top, stacked diamond rings and a tennis bracelet

    02

    Design approval

The jeweller draws the piece and selects the stones. You see the design, the stone and the price before we begin. We ask for a 50% deposit before the piece goes into production.

  3. A gold-stamped Bean Ri bag beside loose pearls in candlelight

    03

    Five to six weeks

Casting, setting and finishing. You receive the finished piece in a gold-stamped Bean Ri box: collect it at the KOOS gallery, or we deliver it to you.

Private fittings at KOOS

Fittings take place by appointment at KOOS, a contemporary art gallery in the centre of Tallinn.

The KOOS gallery room set for an event, coupes on plinths beneath a suspended sculpture A Bean Ri presentation box open in a lit vitrine, chains and stud boards beside it An emerald-cut ring on a cream plinth in gallery window light

A personal approach and an elevated aesthetic are at the heart of every fitting.

  • You are the only guest. The pieces and stones are laid out on the table, and you try them on in daylight, in the quiet of a contemporary art space.
  • There is no rush and no sales talk. Stay as long as you like, and bring someone whose opinion you trust.
